Still processing the massive amount of input you gave us for the new creep abilities.
In the meantime, can you help us find a name for this new legendary hero?
The hero picture is subject to change, depending on the final name.
Thanks so much for all shared #creepabilities! It seems creeps have an incredible lobby among mazebert players 😛
We might even get a new boss: Greed, the king of all treasure goblins. Let us know what you think of this idea by Sarore!
When buying a cookie, beer or whisky one thing you receive is the corresponding supporter card.
But you will also level-up your supporter badge.
Your supporter badge will be displayed in-game, on the website and also next to your forum profile!
For a cookie you get +1, a beer +2 and a whisky +4. Please note that every item in the developer’s inn can be purchased only once per player. This means the max supporter level to reach is 7.
To credit you appropriately for supporting the development of Mazebert, we will also display you in the Supporters section of the website.
Plus, your forum profile will display your badge as well!
Check it out, I’m already there as I bought a cookie and a beer for the final smoke test of the developer’s inn
Check out all the new cards available in the upcoming version! You find them in the reworked card library.
As we added a new card rarity, the grouping now is a bit different.
These are the cards every wizard starts with. They can drop for everybody playing the game, from the very beginning. Great additions to this tear are the three new regular hero cards and the five reinforcement cards for the darkness element. Imp Mines, The Ripper and Dark Priest couldn’t make it in this version, but will be added in the next version to the regular cards tier as well.
These cards can only drop in the game, if you forged them in the card forge. They have a great potential to be powerful, but they aren’t called expert cards for nothing. Every one of them will give you great powers, but with certain drawbacks that need to be considered. A good example for this is Blood Demon who reduces your wizard to 1% health when summoned but gives you a very powerful item in turn.
Supporter cards are our way to say thank you for players who buy us a cookie, beer or whisky in the developer’s inn. The cards don’t give you any advantage over other players, but each card adds a little optical twist to the game, made with a lot of love. Supporter cards are the way to say thank you to our supporters!
Updating the cards section step by step. Check out all towers of the upcoming version!
Starting with version 1.0 players will have the option to add their email address to their ladder account. Until now, it happened quite a few times that players lost their data because of getting a new phone, losing their old phone or simply losing their phone’s data. If they didn’t write down their game’s savecode before, they were practically lost. In a lot of cases I looked up their savecode in the database after they gave me their player name and level. But it always felt odd to me to give players this information while I didn’t really know for sure whether this is the player or maybe someone else who wants to get access to a high level profile in the ladder!
This is why I re-worked the entire sign-up/login process in 1.0! When new players sign up, they are asked in a second step if they want to add their e-mail to their profile or not. Of course, this step is optional! If the e-mail is added, a short mail is sent with a nice little ‘hello friend’ including the savecode for future reference. Of course existing players are able to add an e-mail to their existing profile as well!
When starting a fresh install of Mazebert TD and logging in, there is now a ‘forgot savecode’ option. If the entered e-mail address was added to a profile previously, an e-mail with the profile’s savecode will be sent to that e-mail address!
What do you think about this new feature?
Are you going to add your e-mail address to your ladder profile, or do you prefer a solid pen & paper note as a backup plan?
Meet Solara, The Fire Elemental! She’s one of the new darkness cards in 1.0 and I bet she will kick A LOT of creep’s butts.
With Solara, there will also come a fix that poison/burn damage is dealt correctly to splashed targets. So you might want to give those Poisonous Frog builds with Messerschmidt’s Reaver another try!
Thanks Spirrow for providing the tower idea and of course Brandon, for creating the fantastic artwork!
I’m happy to introduce yet another map! The Golden Map is based on Warlemmings suggestion from the last map poll.
It will be the final and most challenging land to beat in the upcoming release!
You are only allowed to play golden cards on this map! This means, only golden cards you created in the fires of the card forge and that are part of your personal deck can be played.
Non-golden cards can still drop, but are only good for transmuting in this land!
