I've noticed this from time to time as well. Didn't make the connection due to loading yet, so thanks for sharing this!
For me I noticed this especially with hitman, after a while he is no longer generating sounds. Maybe I've reloaded those games in the meantime and that was indeed the problem. Will look into this further.

Thank you Andy. Maybe you notice it with the hitman because it's one of the few towers to make a sound, but I think it is related to closing and reopening the app.
