Insanely high damage!!! (updated to Ver. 0.7)

Very impressive! Thanks for sharing this. Also, great post in the strategies forum. Haven't thought about beating early challenges with scarecrow + hitman combo. Very creative! One thing I didn't understand in your guide: Why are you saving up on the potions?

Depending on the tower chosen to be your primary you might need all the stats from the level bonus to beat a challange wave. Plus I just like to see hwo high of stats I can get. Might not be the best strat but it seems to be working for me.

Ah damn :-D Actually, the level bonus of potions is updated whenever your tower's level changes. I know there was a previous YouTD version where this wasn't the case and I know strategies from back then recmomend not to use potions early on, because of that. That's why I was asking in the first place because it somehow sounded familiar :-) It made me wonder, however. Would you prefer if the calculation wouldn't be dynamic with the current tower level?

I see, I was making this harder on myself lol. I think it is fine as it is now. Tho If there is any plan for new modes perhaps a harder mode that did not have them dynamic would make for more strategy. By what you said, You TD potions work as they do on here currently? Also, is it intended that you can go to main menu and then resume to start the current wave over again?

As far as I know, yes, this is the bahaviour of current YouTD, have a look here.

That's a known bug and due to the limitation that creeps are not saveable/loadable yet. I hoped to fix it in the next release, but right now it doesn't look quite like it :-/

GGood read about YouTD! I used the wave restart thing for numerous tower combinations to test best challenge wave strats. Will kind of miss it but it makes this a bit easy. Is there any planned balancing to be done to the satellite? If there's are plans for more waves it will need show major work. I would almost say it should lower income based on either wave or tower level. I also can't seem to edit my guide post to change the elixir part.

Hey there, yes that was my use case of this bug a few times as well :-) Nope, for now no more waves are planned. The one thing that is planned however is a bonus round. But in that bonus round you would get no items, not potions, no towers, no gold and no interest. But I think satellite would still need to be adjusted in way that the gold is burned down a bit fast than now. Thanks for the hint, I changed the edit time in bbpress to 190 years. Should work now!

OK now I am completely unable to edit posts lol I fear that changing how much the sat takes on each attack might make it to weak To fast. Perhaps for every attack with in a set amount of time steaks the cost make each attack cost more then the last. Or like Muli his total good find is half or something.

Hmm, maybe I've overdone it with the max value and got an overflow on the underlying number representation ^^. I adjusted the value a bit more sensible. Editing should work now! I see your point. One thing in mind with this guy was to really let him grow infinitly (in theory). I tried the strategy a lot of times in YouTD with Golden Queen but then I realized the interest cap at 1.000 gold and the total gold cap at 1.000.000 gold. Maybe the gold savings level bonus should be absolute instead of relative?
