I use a similar method... which uses a shadow at the first spot so he always attacks the maximum amount before creeps die. 3 paintings + any dark item works. This allows me the freedom to push my primary without losing kills or exp whilst knowing my dark forge will level to 99 indefinitely courtesy of all the exp boost stacks.
Nice guide! I will try that soon. Finally the blade of darkness will be mine ^^
Bit off topic: Did you ever succeed on using DF as your primary tower? I tried a few times but with no success.
@Kad 4 more levels until the deck master ability. Excited!
@korn7809 Did you manage to finish the game with DF or did you have to switch the carrier? I always had to switch it, but in all situations it was already too late, because prior to switching DF made not enough kills ^^
Meh deckmaster will be nice but I feel id rather push luck and see how much of a mega muli I could make or see how often I could get beavers to stun etc etc etc. Ive found a few game breaking flaws (not yet reported without further testing) that may or may not be based more so on luck rather than a chosen common.
Well... You should try and spend some skillpoint in Deckmaster. There will be more interesting opportunnities than common towers :D
My guide for leveling DF:
1) If DF level is less than half of genesha put dark item on genesha
2) get a bazillion level ups the next time a tower levels.
3) Remove DF item from Genesha or otherwise it'll be stuck.
4) Wait for condition 1 to apply
:P
You can snow globe a scientist and equip it to a fast attacking unit with a impatient set... two towers leveling up fast at a time.
Or just put impatience set on a scientist. Best results if the scientist gets trident or snow globe bunny
